Packing your laptop
For a quote over £20, the DPD driver brings a secure box when they collect, so you don’t need to pack your laptop yourself. Take it out of its own box first: the driver takes the laptop and charger only.
If you take your laptop to a DPD pickup shop (quotes of £10 to £20) or post it to us yourself (quotes under £10):
- Use a sturdy box that fits your laptop, not a padded envelope.
- Fill the space around it with bubble wrap, foam chips, newspaper or soft clothing, so it can’t move.
- Wrap each laptop separately if you send more than one in a box.
- Tape and seal the box.
- For a DPD pickup shop, attach the DPD label we email you to the outside of the box.
Remove any discs, memory cards, SIM cards and USB sticks before you send it. We can’t return them.
