Look for the sticker
Most laptops have a small Intel or AMD sticker on the palm rest, beside the touchpad.
In Windows
Open Settings, then System, then About. The line headed Processor starts with Intel or AMD. Our spec guide has pictures of each screen.
If it won't turn on
Turn it over. The label underneath carries the model number (on HP, the "Product" or "P/N" line), and that's enough to look up everything else. Or ring us on 01440 784570 with the model number and we'll look it up.

Finding your Medion’s model and processor
The type plate under the laptop carries the MSN, Medion’s 8-digit number starting with 1, 3 or 5, and the MD model number. Medion’s service site finds your laptop from either. To read the processor in Windows, follow our spec guide.
Our form asks for the graphics card as well. Task Manager shows it: Ctrl, Shift and Esc, then Performance, then the GPU line with NVIDIA or AMD in it.
Reading Erazer model names
Erazer names don’t give the generation. Medion reused the Beast X20 name across two processor generations, so check the chip itself. Examples:
- Erazer Beast X20: 17.3-inch, first with a 10th-generation Core i7-10870H, later an 11th-generation i7-11800H
- Erazer Crawler E30: 15.6-inch, 12th-generation Core i5-12450H
- Erazer Major X20: 16-inch, 13th-generation Core i9-13900HX
- Erazer Defender P40: 17.3-inch, 13th-generation Core i7-13700HX
What changes a Medion’s price
- The graphics card, from the Nvidia or AMD list on the form.
- The processor. Intel Core from the 8th generation is on the gaming form.
- Condition. Excellent needs the charger the Erazer came with, working. Without it, choose Good.
- Faults. Liquid damage, a cracked screen or no power at all makes it Faulty. Those sell to us too: read selling a broken laptop.

No. Aldi is one of the UK shops that sells Medion. We price what’s inside and how it’s been kept, whichever shop sold it.
Is a Medion priced as a Lenovo?
No. Medion has its own option on our form, priced at the gaming rate like the other brands on this page. Choose Medion.
There's no MSN on my Medion. What now?
Use the MD number from the same plate, or give us the processor and card from Windows. Or ring 01440 784570 with whatever the label shows.
