Look for the sticker
Most laptops have a small Intel or AMD sticker on the palm rest, beside the touchpad.
In Windows
Open Settings, then System, then About. The line headed Processor starts with Intel or AMD. Our spec guide has pictures of each screen.
If it won't turn on
Turn it over. The label underneath carries the model number (on HP, the "Product" or "P/N" line), and that's enough to look up everything else. Or ring us on 01440 784570 with the model number and we'll look it up.

Finding your Blade’s model and processor
Razer’s label on the base carries the serial number and a model number starting RZ09-. Razer’s support site has a page for each RZ09 number with the year: RZ09-0410, for example, is the Blade 15 Base (2021). Razer Synapse sets the Blade’s performance modes and lighting. For the processor in Windows, use our spec guide.
The quote also needs the graphics card. To see it, start Task Manager (Ctrl, Shift and Esc) and switch to Performance. The GPU that names NVIDIA or AMD is your card.
Reading Blade model names
The number after Blade is the screen size. Razer reuses the names across years, so the year edition tells you the generation:
- Blade 15 (2021): 11th-generation Intel
- Blade 15 (2022): 12th-generation Intel
- Blade 16 (2023): 13th-generation Intel
- Blade 14 (2021): AMD Ryzen 5000
- Blade 14 (2023): AMD Ryzen 7000
What changes a Blade’s price
- The card. Razer offered several cards in the same Blade each year, so check yours.
- The processor. Intel’s 8th generation is the earliest on the gaming form.
- Screen size. The Blade Stealth 13 is 13.3 inches and pays less; the Blade 14 and up count as 14 inches or more.
- Condition. Excellent needs Razer’s own charger, working; a missing one makes it Good. A battery that won’t charge or a cracked screen is Faulty, and we buy those: selling a broken laptop.

Does the Blade 14 count as under 14 inches?
No. It’s 14 inches, so choose 14″ or larger on the form.
Which Ryzen option is a Blade 14 (2023)?
Choose AMD, Ryzen 9, then the 6000/7000 group: its Ryzen 9 7940HS is a 7000-series chip.
Is a Blade 16 worth more than a Blade 15?
Only through its parts. Both are over 14 inches, so the processor, card and condition decide it.
